Saturday 1 and Sunday, June 2, 2013 the second edition of “Artisans in Villa – Cigliano in Bloom” took place. The Villa has opened its majestic doors to thirty exhibitors, including artisans and nurseries, to an exhibition in a setting of great beauty. In the picture above, Niccolò Montecchi (on the right with blue sweater), who along with his sister Elisabetta runs the family Winery and the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, welcomes a group of visitors.

The event, which is at its second edition, aims to promote handicrafts and horticulture in its various forms through the exhibition of plants and artifacts of high level and the exploitation of the excellent skills of local workers and artisans.

Thirty exhibitors, artisans and growers presented their creations in the picturesque setting of the baroque garden at Villa del Cigliano, a unique opportunity to visit a secret treasure of this territory.

The event also aims to highlight the perfect fusion between the surrounding territory, where the artisan culture is rooted, and the harmony of Villa del Cigliano historic garden.
