Unmaredivino: “Winter pruning at Su Crabileddu”
We are publishing this beautiful picture recently taken by Gioacchino Sini, owner of Unmaredivino, while pruning his vineyard “Su Crabileddu“. In the distance, the beautiful Mont Limbara (4468 ft) covered with snow. Downstream, the yellow building on the left, is Unmaredivino Winery.
Gioacchino explains us that “Su Crabileddu” in Sardinian dialect, means “the goats’ place”. His father and his Grandfather used to keep a herd of goats in this same land.
Here’s how we remember, this same vineyard, during a visit to the winery at the end of August 2012. It will be interesting to see the evolution of the landscape in different seasons! Gioacchino will accompany us on this journey and, month after month, will tell us what happens at “Su Crabileddu” in his vineyard.
We would like to also share with you another image, taken in August 2012, and show you another detail of the landscape at “Su Crabileddu” on a warm, late summer day. A fascinating landscape, wild and powerful.
