De Falco: “America’s Cup Naples 2013, best location, best food, best wine!”

During the America’s Cup days in Naples, this past April, after enjoying the fun (and tension) of the race one could relax at the many nice restaurants in Naples. When it come to food we have our tips for you! Like Ristorante Hachè, a great “food stop” on Via Partenope, that has been recently turned to a pedestrian zone, no more traffic and tables on the street facing the sea and the race. Our favorite dish there is “Scialatielli ai frutti di mare” (Scialatielli is a typical Campania fresh pasta served with delicious seafood) to enjoy with a bottle of De Falco Lacryma Christi White

This is what Naples looked like during the race days. The world famous America’s Cup met this beautiful location and here is the result, breathtaking! In this picture you can admire the stronghold of Castel dell’Ovo and “His Majesty” the Vesuvio Volcano in the background.

The city embraced the America’s Cup like no other place! The setting was naturally magnificent.
The Marina, with no more car traffic, was full of people that for a few days turned all sailors!
Make Naples one of your destinations next time you plan a trip to Italy! Make Campania Wines your next taste experience!
