Borgese: “On vacation in Umbria”

We’re back, with Massimo Borgese, in the village of Torri. Massimo takes us through the streets of the small village towards what he calls “My Tower.”
Here is the tower! We find out that this was the first property that Massimo bought in Umbria when, with his family, he decided to move here, from his home land in Calabria, and start your adventure as a producer of Wine and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
The Borgese family, once completed the renovation of the winery building, moved to Montefalco and currently lives there, in a beautiful farmhouse next to the cellar. The “Tower” is today an exclusive residence that is rented to those who want to enjoy a dream holiday in Umbria.
Claudia, Massimo’s Wife, tells us of wonderful evenings spent in front of this fireplace, hosting people they work with for their Wine and EV Olive Oil, and tasting, along with their products excellent food from the Umbrian tradition (and from Calabria tradition, land of origin of the Borgese family). We cannot imagine a better atmosphere!
The tower, and all the rooms in it, have been renovated in the utmost care and respect for the original structure. Many original materials have been restored and recovered. Look at this fireplace in one of the bedrooms! If you are planning a holiday in Umbria, the “Tower” by Claudia and Massimo Borgese would be a winning choice! And even their wine! And even their Extra Virgin Olive Oil!
